"¡Me encantó este museo pequeño pero lleno de cultura e historia indígena! Yo fui sola sin reservación así que mi tour fue privada. Por lo regular, se necesita reservación. Te guían a través de cuatro estaciones donde te muestran y enseñan diversos aspectos de su cultura. Todos fueron muy amables y se notaba que sentían un gran orgullo por todo ello: desde cómo preparar la chicha y el proceso de elaboración de hilos (desde la obtención de la lana hasta su limpieza natural con una raíz —siento no recordar su nombre—), hasta la gran variedad de tintes naturales que utilizan —provenientes de distintas flores y hojas, entre otros elementos— para dar color a sus tejidos. Había mucho más que ver también... Recomiendo encarecidamente hacer una breve parada aquí cuando visiten el Valle Sagrado. En la época en que fui —en marzo de 2026—, ¡la entrada costaba tan solo 10 soles! También cuentan con una tienda de regalos muy agradable... Se trata de una cooperativa de alta calidad, lo que, por supuesto, encarece un poco los productos; sin embargo, yo sabía que, al comprar, estaba apoyando directamente a la persona real que se encontraba detrás de cada artículo. I love this sweet little museum that is full of some history and indigenous culture. They guide you through four stations where they show and teach you about different aspects of their culture. They were all very sweet and you could tell they were proud of it all - from how to make chicha, and how they make yarn/thread from when they get the wool to naturally cleaning it with a root (sorry i cant remember the name of it) and all of the natural dyes they use from different flowers and leaves, etc. to color it. There was a lot more too... I highly recommend a little stop here when you’re in the Sacred Valley. I went in March 2026, and the entrance only cost 10 soles! Nice gift store too... a high quality cooperativa, which makes things more expensive of course, but I knew I was supporting the person behind the products."
