Ayllu B&B Ollantaytambo

"Antonio and Nicole are absolutely wonderful people. They alone make this place more than worth staying at. They could not have been kinder all the way from my booking process through my stay. The main portion of my room was very clean and spacious; further, the bed was extremely comfortable. The bathroom is tight but manageable. Hot water and shower pressure were great. I was provided a fantastic breakfast which included eggs to order (I had an omelette), yogurt, granola, pineapple smoothie, and toast among other things. There was plenty of coffee and tea (including coca tea) provided. As other reviews have mentioned, their place is away from the center of town which is quite noisy. Do keep in mind that Ayllu B&B boarders active farms. This B&B is an easy walk from the center of town or you can take a tuk-tuk for about 5 sols. Ollantaytambo does not have five star hotels or really any typical hotels that I could discern; therefore, you need to stay in a place like this when lodging in this town. That being the case, why not stay in the best one which is here and receive the great hospitality from these exceptional hosts :-). Highly recommended!"

"We had 3 nights at this lovely B&B. The hosts are very kind and helpful. The bed was very comfortable. Views from breakfast (and breakfast itself) great! The chorus of roosters from the early hours the main downside, but I suspect you get some sort of noise everywhere."

"Staying at Ayllu BnB was one of the most special parts of my trip. From the very beginning, Antonio and Nicole made me feel like family. They were both so kind, quick to respond, and always willing to help with anything I needed. Antonio even stepped in last minute to help me with booking a tour guide, which I was so grateful for, and Nicole was the sweetest, always checking in and making sure I was comfortable. The house itself is beautiful, with the most breathtaking views from the terrace, the dining room, and even my room. Waking up to that scenery every day felt like such a gift. They made me a fresh delicious breakfast or packed me a lunch everyday. The value with this spot is amazing. The rooms were clean and comfortable. I was there 6 nights and every single day was in awe of the beauty. I also can’t forget their adorable dog Charlotte. She completely stole my heart. She was so cute and playful, and just having her around made my days even brighter. This place is full of warmth and heart, and I honestly can’t wait for the chance to come back"

"It was a perfect, budget-friendly B&B experience provided by the amazing hosts - Nicol and Antonio. Everything was 10/10 from the breakfast to housekeeping to WiFi. They also arranged a couple of day trips for us to Sacred Valley and Cusco. Can’t recommend it enough!"

"My friend and I stayed in two rooms at Ayllu B&B for two nights while hiking and acclimatizing in preparation for the classic Inca Trail hike to Machu Picchu. We enjoyed our stay and would happily stay there again. The small B&B is run by a friendly couple, Antonio and Nicole. They were very accommodating and helpful arranging rides, sharing local information, and storing bags. The rooms were simple but nice. The beds were excellent, and I got great sleep there. It was a quiet location while we were there – we liked being a little out of the noisier town area. The shower was nice with good hot water supply. There’s only cold water at the sink which seemed common in Peru. Breakfast was simple but very good. It’s a very nice place and a great value."
