"Wow. When you first walk in, you will think I'm crazy, but this place is absolutely amazing!!! Our server Michael had an amazing personality and was an absolute delight. But the food was out of this world. We both had Alpaca, mine was tender and juicy, my husband's was as well. The flavor hit me in the mouth and made roll my eyes in appreciation. Nothing I've EVER had in the states was this delightful to the senses. Can't wait to come back... Thank you Michael for an amazing experience ❤️"

"Absolutely amazing! You walk in and it's like being in the seventies, just a very warm and homey interior with earthy colors contrasted with bright floral and psychedelic images. Really cool and happy place. They have ample seating space inside, filled with table games and dioramas, as well as outdoor seating in the front of the restaurant and in the back. So, about the back, that is where we sat and it was very lovely looking down onto the river, and the trees beyond, but keep in mind that in the evenings it gets pretty cold AND the river is very loud. When we go back (and I really hope we do) I would prefer to sit inside. Michael was taking care of us, and he did a terrific job recommending the dishes and he was very knowledgeable about the type of ingredients that were used in them. He was very professional and attentive. The food was delicious and beautifully presented. As they said, it was made with love. Every element was perfectly positioned for the optimal appeal and esthetic value. Literally, it was a shame to eat it... Trucha con Champinones was PHENOMENAL. I am putting it in capital letters, because it deserves to be noticed. All the flavors perfectly balanced, all the components perfectly prepared and the presentation was a work of art. The trout was pink, cooked to perfection with crispy skin and delicate flesh. It was topped with tasty mushrooms in white, creamy sauce and accompanied with creamy, velvety mashed potato and saute vegetables. It was one of the best dishes I ever had, and I am a foodie. I would give this delectable creation a 15 out of 10. Causa did not look like its photo on the menu, but it was delicious. Three stacks of tasty chicken salad on the bed of thinly sliced avocados and potatoes in huancaína sauce. Served with edible flowers - we ate all of it! Chupe de trucha did not impress me. It was hearty, but I believe that the tomatoes used in the sauce or during the cooking, gave too much acidity to the dish and took away the flavor of the fish. It created a bit of a sourness that distracted from the rest of the ingredients. This is only my personal opinion, so I feel that if it had more cream and way less tomato, it would bring out the trout's natural essence. We indulged in a bit of Mulled Wine, which was lovely. Overall, excellent food, excellent service and great ambiance. There were so many dishes on the menu that I wanted to try! So sad that humans only have one stomach and it can only hold so much... I would love to come back for more."

"Arrived at Aguas Calientes and this was the first dinner spot on my list. And wow… it was so worth it. 😱 Exceptional service from Michael who recommended us to get trout as a light dinner to help with the altitude. One of the best and most flavoursome meal I’ve ever had. The mash potatoes were so smooth, the veggies were roasted and the trout with the garlic sauce blended so well. You can tell the food was prepared really well and the presentation was really pretty. Highly recommend!"

"Exceptionally nice food and great hippy vibe atmosphere! It’s like Sapa and Pai made a baby :D The stuff was super friendly and always running to keep everyone happy! My Alpaca Steak was served with an unexpected pisco fire show! The risotto milanese was a masterpiece! The parmesan kicked and the aspargus was also nice! Loved every bit!"
